The OnePlus TV will come with a 55” 4K QLED display later this month. It will come with at least three years of software updates. The TV is rumored to have a MediaTek MT5670 SoC under the hood laced with 3GB RAM.
The page on Amazon confirms that OnePlus TV will sport 8 speakers having a combined output of 50 watts which will offer “punchy bass to fill your living room”. The TV will also come with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision for enhanced audio and video experience.
The OnePlus TV will run Android TV with an “improved UI” atop. It will be a premium product competing with the likes of Samsung and Sony but will cost less because of the company’s strategic partnership with Amazon.
The OnePlus TV is expected to launch on September 26 at an event in India where the company will also take the wraps off the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro.
